Education

Steven M. Brom graduated from Mountain Brook High School in 1994 and attended the University of Georgia where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 1998. Upon graduating from the University of Georgia, Mr. Brom attended the University of Colorado where he received his J.D. degree in 2001. While in law school, Mr. Brom was a member of the 1999 Student Trial Lawyer Association mock trial team, worked for the Denver District Attorney’s Office and served as a research assistant to Professor Bill Rentfro. He also participated in Rothgerber Moot Court as well as the University of Colorado School of Law’s Legal Aid and Defender program.

Mr. Brom was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in September, 2001. He is a member of the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama; U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit; Supreme Court of the United States of America; American Bar Association, and Birmingham Bar Association.

Mr. Brom’s practice areas include general civil litigation and appeals in all state and federal courts with emphasis on business litigation, personal injury, products liability, and premises liability; corporate and business law; and estate planning.
